BTW was formed in Cairo, Egypt, on July 4th, 2010 by Tarek Assi: Vocals & Guitars, Talal: Back Vocals & Guitars, and Gummy: Keyboard. BTW's formation is a direct reaction to the love of rock and roll music. Inspired by bands such as Jason Mraz, Jack Johnson, Augustana, The Beatles, The Doors, Porcupine Tree, Gary Jules, mainly Acoustic Rock and Alternative music. Their story is all about Rock 'n' Roll in the Cairo Music Scene.
