"I Want A Pet Dinosaur" is a musical theatre production that takes audiences on a journey through the many worlds of childhood, exploring play, school, friendship, first love, discovery, fear, and triumph. Through original music, ensemble performance, and theatrical storytelling, the production revisits the moments that shape our earliest memories and identities. It invites audiences of all ages to reconnect with the imagination, curiosity, and emotional honesty of childhood while reflecting on the experiences that continue to influence us long after we grow up.

Created to celebrate the sixteenth anniversary of The Choir Project, the production continues the collective's collaborative artistic practice, which has defined its work since 2010. Every aspect of the performance is developed collectively, from scriptwriting and music composition to scenography, visual design, and stage execution. "I Want A Pet Dinosaur" builds on this approach by bringing together original music, live performance, and collaborative creation into a unified theatrical experience. The production follows the success of "Zobaida Behind the Horizon Line" (2024) and reflects The Choir Project's ongoing commitment to creating original, ensemble-driven theatre that engages audiences through shared artistic expression

«عايز أربي ديناصور» هو عرض مسرحي غنائي يأخذ الجمهور في رحلة عبر عوالم الطفولة، مستكشفًا ما تحمله من لحظات اللعب، والمدرسة، والصداقة، والحب الأول، والاكتشاف، والخوف، والانتصار. يستعيد العرض تفاصيل تبدو بسيطة في ظاهرها، لكنها تشكل ذاكرة الإنسان الأولى وتترك أثرًا ممتدًا في حياته. ومن خلال الموسيقى والأداء الجماعي والخيال المسرحي، يقدّم العمل تجربة تحتفي بالطفل الذي يسكن كل واحد منا، وتفتح مساحة للتأمل في تلك اللحظات التي صنعت بداياتنا وشكلت علاقتنا بالعالم.

يأتي هذا العرض احتفالًا بالعام السادس عشر لـ «مشروع كورال»، الذي يعتمد منذ تأسيسه عام 2010 على منهج إبداعي تشاركي في صناعة عروضه المسرحية، حيث تُطوَّر جميع عناصر العمل بصورة جماعية، بدءًا من كتابة النصوص وتأليف الموسيقى، مرورًا بالسينوغرافيا والتصميم، وصولًا إلى التنفيذ على خشبة المسرح. ويواصل «عايز أربي ديناصور» هذا النهج، مقدمًا تجربة مسرحية غنائية تعتمد على الإبداع الجماعي والموسيقى الأصلية والأداء الحي. ويأتي العرض بعد النجاح الذي حققه «زبيدة خلف خط الأفق»، ليؤكد استمرار «مشروع كورال» في تقديم أعمال مسرحية معاصرة تنطلق من التعاون الفني وتبحث عن أشكال جديدة للتعبير المسرحي.
