Good Night, Mom is a play by American playwright Marsha Norman, with dramaturgy and direction by Nour Ismail.

The play follows a mother and daughter during the final hour of the daughter’s life, leading up to her decision to end it with her father’s gun.

Through an expressionistic approach and movement-driven performances, the production explores the daughter’s inner turmoil, painful memories, and depleted spirit. As the story unfolds, it reveals the suffering of both women within a harsh home, reflecting aspects of Egyptian society.
